Substantial Rebates for Installation of LED Bulbs and Fixtures
Chosen as a result from rigorous LM-79 performance testing, utilities under the Mass Save Program are now offering Northeast customers rebates for the installation of Lighting Science’s new DEFINITY line of LED bulbs, Flat LowBay streetlights and Shoebox fixtures. Massachusetts utilities, energy efficiency service providers, and state organizations teamed up to create the Mass Save Program which provides a wide range of services, incentives, training, and information designed to promote energy efficiency. The incentives are being provided for retrofit, new construction and custom applications through Cape Light Compact, National Grid, NSTAR, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric Company and cover all of Massachusetts and parts of New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island.
“With rising energy costs in the Northeast, communities are looking for ways to save energy–the installation of Lighting Science Group’s LED bulbs and fixtures can save businesses thousands of dollars in maintenance, replacement and energy cost,” our CEO, Zach Gibler said. “Commercial and industrial customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island now have the freedom to switch to an environmentally friendly and energy efficient lighting solution without sacrificing light quality and at little to no cost,” said Zach.
The Mass Save Program hopes to accelerate the installation of ultra-efficient LED lighting with our LED lamps and fixtures because of their outstanding light quality and long life-spans.
