Lighting Science Group offers a wide variety of LED lighting products. They are not only energy efficient but also address many health and environmental concerns including: improved sleep, accelerated plant growth, protecting wildlife and boosting alertness.
Lighting Science Group, a Pegasus portfolio company, uses patented technology to create an groundbreaking range of LED lamps and bulbs that eliminate certain wavelengths of light that have been proven by medical professionals to disrupt circadian rhythms in plants, animals and humans.
Two products in our Rhythm Series include the Good Night and Awake & Alert bulbs. The Good Night uses spectrum-filtering technology to suppress blue light supporting your bodies natural melatonin production. Awake & Alert release a white colored light which is enriched in the blue-wavelength spectrum and is aimed at increasing alertness and energy.
RESORTS THAT PROVIDE A BETTER NIGHT’S SLEEP
How to sleep better at hotels? Miraval Resort & Spa in the US has installed Good Night lamps in 116 of their guest room. Six Sense Resort also features the Good Night lamp in all of its guest rooms and spas. The Awake & Alert lamps are located in the gyms and exercise rooms.
WORKS WITH YOUR BODY’S NATURAL MELATONIN PRODUCTION
Regular light bulbs drastically reduce melatonin production which will have an adverse effect on your sleep. By taking advantage of the Good Night LED lamps, hotels and resorts can provide a better night’s sleep to their guests and save energy. The shatter proof design make these much safer to handle than traditional light bulbs and they do not emit nearly as much heat. The Good Night LED is 800 lumens bright and only uses 12 watts (replaces a 60 watt bulb). The bulb also comes with a 5 year warranty.
